My Friend is Not Quite Human

An interesting variation on the Pygmalion and Galatea story, in which a woodcarver comes to realise that he’s creating his ideal woman. PS note how the story title is completely non-indicative - it looks to me as if the editor just handed a title to the writer and said “see what you can do with this”. I’m glad he chose to do this.
