The Pygmalion Syndrome - Art & Stuff

United States Nancy and the Statues
Here’s another little gem from the archives that was found by Taral Wayne. Taral comments: “You can never tell where you'll find this sort of stuff! But really... Nancy? Oona Goosepimple was the invention of John Stanley, who wrote Little Lulu stories for many years, then switched to Nancy. I don’t know how many Oona stories there were -- I've tracked down 8 and know of one more for certain. They’re all very weird.”

This story was first published in 1959. The scans Taral sent me are from the Joyville blog (no longer publicly available), but I’ve made some serious adjustments to improve the contrast, compensate for the browning of the paper, minimise jpeg artifacts, de-speck, and generally tidy up the images.
