The actual letting in of the jungle takes place much more quickly in the comic. In the story, the process of driving out the villagers takes several months rather than what appears in the comic to be a few minutes! Also in the story there is no mention of Buldeo and his men once more threatening Mowgli, nor of Mowgli summoning birds and bats to fly at the men’s faces.
