Information - how to navigate these pages

Welcome to the intriguing world of the Living Statues, people who have become
immobilized by a clever bit of technical wizardry and appear to the casual observer
as hyper-realistic sculptures or mannequins. The tale follows a young photographer
and his search for the perfect model and the effects of a very special bit of
technology he discovers along the way...
This is an ongoing story; it was started by 'Dr.Cuffs' (since disappeared
from the net) who wrote parts 1 and 2; continued by myself in parts 3,
4, and 6. Another author, 'Bill Shakespeare', contributed the Prologue
and most of part 5. I have edited the text for consistency.
Where will it end? Who knows -- maybe you would like to add something
to the saga! If you do, a couple of things to keep in mind:

This is a fantasy which should be mostly about having fun; try for a light
tone.

What has already been written should be a guide to what is possible with
the device.

Don't be constrained by existing story threads. If you branch, just say
where and I'll stitch it together, HTML-wise (so far it's pretty linear)

If this isn't your 'cup of tea', please just move on. Not everyone likes
the concept of living statues as much as the writers of this story do.
